How to get any other uber busy person’s attention

So if you have some famous person that you want to get a hold of, then here’s the secret to creating what we call “Enlightened Alliances”. Enjoy my video or read the transcript below:

I travel all over the world. I’m always on one stage after another.  And inevitably when I get down from the stage someone is coming up to me saying,

“Janet! Can you write a chapter in my book?”
“Can you be part of my movie?”
“Can you speak at my event?”
“Can you this, that, or the other thing?”

But every once in a while, someone comes up to me and they say,

“Hey Janet, I know how you can create more Passion Test teachers all over the world!”

When people come up to me and say,

“Will you write a chapter in my book?”
“Will you be in my movie?”
“Will you this, that, or the other thing?”

I would love to say, “Yes, yes, yes!” to everyone. I love people! I LOVE people!

I’m a major people person, but I don’t have the time. I’m busy! We have this huge organization all over the world that I’ve gotta attend to, so I can only do so much.

Well here’s the secret to creating what Chris Attwood, my business partner and I call “Enlightened Alliances”

That person that came up to me and said, “Janet, I know a way that you can have Passion Test teachers all over the world!”

This is that secret. What that person did was, he tapped into my critical need. That’s something that I am all about. Everything I do is to create more Passion Test trainers worldwide!

Let me ask you;

In my uber busy world, who do you think is going to get my attention?

...Yeah! It’s the person who taps into my critical need.

So if you have some famous person that you want to get a hold of, then here’s the secret to creating what we call “Enlightened Alliances”

Do your homework, find out first what their critical need is.

It’s going to be through research and asking people who know people. It could be going to the gatekeeper, that person’s assistant, and befriending them!

Find out what their critical need is first.

Because we’re all busy! If I look out into an audience and say, “How many of you are overloaded?” Almost everyone would raise both hands! With the internet and social media, and all these new ways of communication these days, we’re all running as fast as we can.

So if you want to get to that person that can change your life, if you want to get to that person that can fulfill your critical need, find out first what their critical need is!

Then when you meet that person you can say, “Hey, I have a way that I can ______!” You fill in that blank. That’s their critical need, and they’ll want to fulfill yours as well.

This is the path of least resistance.
